All of these flowers are on the endangered species list.
Starting at the top is the Gray's lily, then the red version
of the tiger lily, the red version of the wood lily, and the
Oconee bells. These are the only one of these I have seen. When one sees a rare speciemn, ( flower, bird or animal ). Please do not harm it. Enjoy its beauty and allow others to do the same.
These two flowers are the same genus and species.
" But they don't look the same! ", one might say.
As in with mammals, Albinism ( lack of color or the turning white of a life form ) occurs. I have images of the above.....Dwarf
crested iris, bluebells, and the orchid called grass pink,
all in the albino form. If one should happen upon a rarity such
as these.....PLEASE DO NOT DESTROY THEM IN ANY WAY.
